Publish your homebrew games
The EmuDeck Store is a platform for homebrew developers to distribute their games to thousands of retro gaming enthusiasts.
Create your account
Register with your name, email, and a link to your portfolio or website. An admin will review and activate your account, usually within 24-48 hours. You'll receive an email when you're approved.
Upload your game
From your dashboard, click "Add Game" and fill in the details:
- •ROM file — Your game as a .zip file
- •Screenshot — An in-game screenshot (PNG)
- •Title screen — The title/cover art of your game (PNG)
- •Video — A short gameplay clip (WEBM, optional but recommended)
- •Logo — Transparent logo of your game (PNG, optional)
Review process
Once submitted, your game will be reviewed by an admin. We check that the game runs correctly, the screenshots are accurate, and the content follows our guidelines. If approved, it goes live on the store. If rejected, you'll receive an email with the reason so you can fix it and resubmit.
Get paid
If your game is paid, you keep 80% of every sale. Payments are sent to your PayPal account. Make sure to configure your PayPal email in your dashboard settings. See full details on our Pricing & Payments page.
Frequently Asked Questions
What platforms are supported?
Currently we support: Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, NES, SNES, Sega Genesis/Mega Drive, Sega Master System, and Game Gear. We plan to add more platforms in the future.
Can I publish a free game?
Absolutely! Free games are welcome and have no hosting costs for you. They're a great way to get visibility and build your audience. Users can download free games without even creating an account.
Can I update my game after it's published?
Yes. From your dashboard, click "Edit" on any game to update its files, screenshots, description, price, or any other detail. Updates take effect immediately without needing another review.
Can I disable or remove my game?
You can disable a published game at any time from the edit page, which hides it from the store. Games pending approval can also be deleted entirely. If you need help with anything else, use the Support section in your dashboard.
How long does the review process take?
We aim to review all submissions within 48 hours. You'll receive an email notification when your game is approved or if we need any changes.
